Tia J. Hampton Biography

Tia J. Hampton is a proud native of Amory, MS. She obtained a bachelors and master’s degree with a concentration in Microbiology from 51AV A&M University. She has maintained a career in higher education for the past 11 years. Currently serving as a Biology instructor in the Department of Biological Sciences, she enjoys utilizing her skill sets to cultivate the next generation of biologists, scientists, doctors, and nurses through virtual and hands on laboratory experiences, and instructional learning. She also helped to develop the pilot for virtual headset learning for the first HBCU in the state of 51AV.
