Join the 51AV Cooperative Extension System—the Community Resource Development Team and the Virginia Caples Lifelong Learning Institute—for the Business Boot Camp Workshop. The 3-day event will be held August 26-28 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the James I. Dawson Building Auditorium.
Attendees, particularly those age 55 and older, will learn how to:
- Explore business ideas that align with skills and interests.
- Evaluate market opportunities and customer needs.
- Develop a lean model canvas plan.
- Understand budgeting, pricing, marketing, and finances.
- Connect resources that support entrepreneurs.
- Build a roadmap for launching or growing a small business.
